Jingle all the way!

Post 146
Todays card is for CHRISTMAS!!!! Yeh!
Using the completely wonderful 'Jingle all the Way ' stamp set and dies from My Favorite Things.

The santa is die cut and stamped using memento ink, and coloured using pro markers
Then his suit HAD to be twinkled up using Wink of Stella. I used the Avery elle 'Custom Panel die' to create the angled layers of my papers. I used a Stampin Up Christmas paper pad, which is no longer available, for my pattern paper.

In side the card I had to put some more of these great characters from the stamp plate, so I used the 'Pop up Trio creative cuts' from Mama Elephant to create a pop up base for the characters to stand on. Easily done without dies I know, but these make it so quick , easy and neat.

These were also die cut, stamped the coloured with pro markers, they just add that little surprise inside the card.
The sentiment is from  Stampin up,  'Endless Wishes' (unfortunatly also unavailable)

Hope you like todays card.

40 and Simply Fabulous!

Post 145
For todays card I had to go digging in the old stash for the 'Party ladies' stamp set from Creative Expressions as using one of these images was a request for the card.
I stamped and embossed the image onto some watercolour card. making sure she was postioned over to the right.

Before painting the lady I die cut the panel to her left, I used a Sue Wilsons striplet die called                'Lattice heart' . I cut the die again out of some pink card stock, and having lined the back of the watercolour panel with double sided sticky sheet I inlaid the pink pieces into some of the pattern. I left a diamond of available spaces and sprinkled some crystal glitter in.

On top, the number was die cut 3 times and stacked to make a substantial embellishment, then it had to have wink of stella and glossy accents to make it pop. The number dies are from Lawn fawn

I then, after all the inlay work, painted the image. Dotting some glossy accents on the beads once the image was dry.

Inside was a simple greeting and a shoe, also from the stamp plate.

Hope you like todays card.

Minion Golf....

Post 144
This is a card my husband asked me to make for one of his golfing buddies! Having being pestered into going to the Minions movie with my youngest son, the Minions were on my mind when considering what to do for this card.
The fabulous image I found on google....one of these print out and colour sheets for the children!

Sized right for the card, masked and a golf buggy stamped behind, the Paper Smooches 'My Guy' provided the buggy. The Lawn Fawn grassy border runs along the front of the minion.

Coloured in with my Distress Markers, the minions goggles were screaming for glossy accents, all finished off with a quote, and a big golf ball, just so the recipient doesn't forget his age!

The numbers on the ball were stacked up 3 high, covered in clear wink of stella and glossy accents.

 Hope you like todays card.

Laughing ladies...again

Post 143
Yes.. it's the laughing set again from Art Impressions. Once again they've been water coloured using my distress markers. I found the quote on Pinterest.....makes me giggle every time I read it, fortunatly it made the recipient laugh too!

I fussy cut the ladies out, something I rarely do, leaving a small white border. The card was simply put together using some patter papers from Lawn Fawn, a little die cutting and faux stitches to finish things off.

Laughing ladies

Post 142
Todays card is one of my favourite images from the Art Impressions 'Girlfriends' stamps. This one is the 'Laughing Set' . I picked a pattern paper from the stash, and painted the image to match using the old favourites, my Distress Markers.

The image was die cut using the My Favorite Things 'stitched rectangles'

I matted the image with green card and the previously chosen pattern paper.

70th Caravaners

Post 141

Good afternoon crafty friends, todays card is made from a fabulous digital stamp from Hand made harbour, a website I found after googling for an image  of a caravan....they did not disappoint!
The image is called 'car and caravan (trailer)'
I printed the image on smooth card stock (my printer objects to water colour card with any substance, so I have to tread carefully with my water!)

I managed to water colour the image without the card pilling. I cut out some numbers using some Lawn Fawn dies, 'Finleys 123's', i cut these out 3 times and stacked them up to give plenty of dimension. I coloured the top layer and the edges with a vibrant red pro marker, followed by a coat of clear wink of stellar and a good dollop of glossy accents. The rest of the sentiment was stamped using Mama Elephants 'Photo Bomb',and Lawn Fawns 'Claire's ABC'.

The sparkle and dimension on the numbers can really be seen here!.

I also added glossy accents to the car and caravan windows. The card was finished off by die cutting some stitching around the edge using Paper Smooches 'Stitched dies', matting the image onto some kraft card then on to the base card.

Birthday Photo Bomb

Post 139
Hi blogland, todays card is using the wonderful 'Photo Bomb' stamps and co ordinating dies  'Polaroid fun creative cuts' from Mama Elephant.

The images were stamped with tuxuedo black memento ink, then coloured with my promarkers, Every time I get these markers out, I learn so much. still learning so much. On this image I  made good use of the fine nibs, giving some of the characters extra texture especially in the hair, using these nibs.

The backing paper is from the Avery Elle 'Everyday collection' 6x6inch paper pad.
The polaroid die cut are cut twice, both in white and black, and just offset to add extra dimension. Top tip from the fabulous Nichol Magourk.

The 'Scripty Sayings' stamps from Lawn Fawn were used for the sentiment on the bottom of the card.

All finished off with some sequins and faux stitches.
Hope you like todays card.
Happy crafting.

Unusual Anniversary card.....

Post 138
Something a little unexpected for an anniversary card. It was made for a very special friend who lost her husband two years ago, and I wanted the card to be a hug in an envelope basically.
This image from Tiddly Inks was perfect, my friend loves cats and the heart balloon was ideal.

The image is a digital one so it was printed out along with the sentiment, to make for a one layer card.
I decided to use my Derwent Inktense pencils.

The red on the balloon was a beautiful rich colour ,but all cards need wink of Stella clear sparkle, with glossy accents on top!!

With the pencils I could easily get a furry look, with the added bonus of a touch of water making the blending super simple.

Hope you like the card .
